Boys basketball: Slow start leads to third straight league setback

Published 03/02/2011, The Farmington Independent

Games against two of the top teams in the Missota Conference didn’t help a Farmington boys basketball team that was already struggling to score points. The Tigers were dealt an 83-48 home loss by conference-leading and fourth-ranked (Class 4A) Chaska last Tuesday, then managed just 14 first-half points in a 53-45 setback Friday night at New Prague. The team has failed to reach 50 points in eight of its last 13 games.
