Boys soccer: Late goal lifts Tigers

Published 09/22/2010, The Farmington Independent

Farmington coach Julian Buss made some personnel changes that paid off during last Tuesday’s come-from-behind victory over Red Wing. With starting midfielders Christian Thao and Brandon Scott missing due to injuries, Buss moved sweeper Sam Leske up to midfield to try to create some offense. The adjustment helped the Tigers rally from a 1-0 deficit as Leske sparked the offense and scored the go-ahead goal with 3:14 remaining in an eventual 2-1 decision at Tiger Stadium.
