BISMARCK (AP) — North Dakota U.S. Sen. John Hoeven said Tuesday he supports legislation to block President Barack Obama’s push to close the American military prison at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, saying it is needed to detain prisoners of war and suspected terrorists.
