Four bandits robbed DL’s Park Hotel 80 years ago

June 2, 1932 – Four youthful, unmasked bandits entered the Park Hotel, located on the Detroit lakeshore, about one o’clock early Monday morning, robbed the hotel of $114 in cash, kidnapped Harry P. Woodhouse, the proprietor, and took him on a forty mile ride.
