Rossman Relay Recess raises funds for cancer

Cancer is a disease that truly does not discriminate: It affects both sexes, all ages, all races and ethnicities, and people from every kind of socioeconomic background. Yes, even kids can get cancer. This week, the students and staff of Rossman Elementary School in Detroit Lakes took aim at increasing awareness of ways to prevent the spread of this deadly disease while raising money for research and treatment, through participating in a program known as Relay Recess.
