Why we need a service dog identification program

Service dogs have long had a special place in my heart. I have enjoyed raising puppies for Leader Dogs for the Blind, Can Do Canines, and now Patriot Assistance Dogs. Training with the adult service dog and the person who receives that incredible animal is even more rewarding. So hearing accounts of these trained teams not being allowed in places that the Americans with Disabilities Act guarantees access, is to say the least, disheartening.
