A weekly roundup of news from the region: Orlin Ostby lives a far piece from Edinburg, N.D., at least as the oxen roam. But the rural Gatzke, Minn., farmer who recently completed a 420-mile oxcart trail trek from Pembina, N.D, to St. Paul — with an oxcart pulled by a 2,600-pound ox named Pum — has been honored in Edinburg, which is nearly 90 miles west of Gatzke.
