Closed Kennedy, Minn., school leaves hope for a town rebirth

The latest blow to this northwestern Minnesota town came in November, when voters closed the school. But city leaders are hopeful that the school building, which could be viewed as a symbol of the town’s steady population decline, will instead be representative of a rebirth.
