Lake of the Woods: Along the south shore, walleyes are hitting outside the Lighthouse Gap all the way over to Zippel Bay in 16 to 24 feet of water. Spinner rigs or jigs are working best. At the Northwest Angle, jigs continue to produce limits of walleyes and northern pike around Oak Island and Flag Island. Work the upper Rainy River area closer to International Falls, Minn., for walleyes with minnows.
