Spring fever

Published 04/22/2008

Mitch Rudh launches a disc toward a target Monday at the Lincoln Drive Park disc golf course as he golfed with friends, Braden Battle and Jordan Jones. It looks like it’s the start of the rainy season in the Grand Forks region. The first rains since the start of spring fell on the area Monday. The National Weather Service in Grand Forks predicted a 20 percent chance of showers over most of the region today, except for areas just northeast of Fargo, where the sun is expected to shine unimpeded. There’s a 50-50 chance of thunderstorms Wednesday and a 30 percent chance of rain mixed with snow over the northern part of the region Thursday. Herald photo by Eric Hylden.
