Holidays give boost to area growth

The holiday season was good to northeastern North Dakota. In 11 counties in the northeast corner of the state, taxable sales and purchases during the months of October, November and December totaled $365 million, up nearly $27.6 million or 8.2 percent over fourth quarter 2006.Word count: 696
