DNR officials hand out shooting permits

Minnesota Department of Natural Resources officials handed out deer-shooting permits to 35 landowners Tuesday night at a meeting in Wannaska, Minn., the middle of the area where bovine tuberculosis has been found in wild deer and cattle, said Paul Telander, regional wildlife manager for the DNR.
