WEATHER: Harsh night of dangerous cold ahead

Expect a continuation of falling temperatures and northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to around 35 mph, which will create dangerous wind chills of 25 below to near 50 below through the night in the northern Red River Valley region. The cold prompted at least 14 area school districts and one college to cancel classes today and led to delayed openings at others.Word count: 712
