Weeks after a slur unplugs a shock jock, we're still slinging it as slang

Hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons recently announced he wanted three words banned from the “clean“ versions of rap songs. One is the word “ho.“ Earlier, about 40-plus teen journalists were asked if they would have fired shock jock Don Imus for using the term “nappy-headed ho.“ The majority said “no.“ They use the word “ho.“ Why shouldn't he? Below, several teens express their opinions.
