N.D. offers lowest number of deer tags in 30 years

North Dakota’s 16½-day deer gun season opens at noon Friday and ends Nov. 24. The Game and Fish Department this year offered 59,500 tags, a decline of 5,800 from last year and the lowest since 1983. By comparison, Game and Fish offered a record 145,250 deer gun licenses in 2004
