Salmon run on Lake Sakakawea and Missouri is iffy

Dave Fryda, Missouri River system fisheries supervisor for the North Dakota Game and Fish Department, said despite the flooding of 2011 and loss of salmon and smelt through Garrison Dam because of entrainment, last fall's run was decent, The Bismarck Tribune reported.
