Accordion’s heyday long gone, but man keeps ‘dying art’ alive

Dave Kolle estimates he has sold as many as 50,000 accordions throughout his career. Back in the accordion’s heyday of the 1950s and ’60s, he sold at least six or seven a day at Wylie Guitar, Accordion and Drum Studios in downtown Fargo. He gave lessons to about 85 students a week.
