Trio of baby peregrine falcons a big hit with crowd during Grand Forks banding event

Nick Kludt thought he was going to be spending Monday afternoon at his desk in the UND biology department when he showed up for work wearing flip-flops. Instead, Kludt found himself serving as a last-minute replacement on a mission to climb the 150-foot UND water tower to help retrieve three peregrine falcon chicks for banding.
