It is well known that March is not the favorite child of Mother Nature. The blizzard of 1941 swooped in during March with no warning, and 39 people in North Dakota died — mostly in cars. The blizzard of 1966 is remembered here as it lasted four days in March. The blizzard of 1920 killed 34 in March.Word count: 502
