N.D. lawmaker seeks chancellor's ouster, but high ed board backs him

Sen. Tony Grindberg, R-Fargo, is proposing to buy out the contract of Hamid Shirvani, North Dakota University System chancellor, whose leadership Grindberg said is “questionable.” But the State Board of Higher Education, the only body that can dismiss Shirvani, backs him “100 percent.”
