It’s only natural to mourn for the children, with their innocence, vulnerability and promise. It’s impossible to grieve too much for them. It’s also natural to mourn for the parents, as I can’t fathom what it would be like to lose a child at age 6 or 7 other than knowing it would be emotionally crippling.
