Minnesota hunter recounts opening-day success in wolf hunt

Hunting deer north of Duluth on the opening morning of Minnesota’s firearms deer season, Garrett Mikrut had a whitetail doe and fawn run by about 10 yards from his stand. He thought a buck might be chasing the doe, so he readied himself for a shot. But instead of a buck he found two wolves.
