It's not enough to write off traditional journalism, as blogger Rob Port seems to want to do. The fact that Port, a talented communicator, feels the need to write columns for the Herald while criticizing this venerable Pulitzer Prize-winning newspaper for its traditionalism, says something about his need for certification as a news reporter and critic.
