Minnesota police officer cleared of taking corkscrew

A Hastings police officer will go back on patrol now that a jury has cleared him of stealing a corkscrew from a restaurant. The Hastings Police Department said Thursday that Officer Rene Doffing was cleared on two counts of theft after a two-day jury trial.
