Wheat production estimates mixed in the Dakotas

Wheat production is expected to be up in North Dakota this year but down in South Dakota. The U.S. Department of Agriculture's latest projections estimate North Dakota's spring wheat crop at 214 million bushels, up 28 percent over the year, and durum wheat at 41.9 million bushels, up 130 percent.
