North Dakota shooting trial goes to jury
The case against two men accused in a fatal North Dakota shooting has gone to a jury. Twenty-nine-year-old Richard Whitman and 24-year-old Cody Borner have pleaded not guilty to a murder conspiracy charge in the Jan. 31 death of 22-year-old Mike Padilla in his apartment and the wounding of his 21-year-old brother, Timothy Padilla of Billings, Mont.Word count: 93
