Road flood damage keeps Jay Cooke park closed

The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources says Jay Cooke State Park will remain closed for now due to severe flood damage to Highway 210. Highway 210 provides the only vehicle access to the park in northeastern Minnesota. The DNR says the highway is impassable due to mudslides and large washed-out sections from last week's heavy rains.
