Thief River Falls' housing needs could trump a mom’s legacy

The city wants to build desperately needed housing on park land. Among those opposing the move are homeowners that live near Annie Park, including a man whose mother donated land for the park in 1966. Now a petition is circulating. City leaders say if the new housing is built, it really would be for the greater good of the city.
