MATTERS AT HAND: Skyline says a lot about a town

My interest in skylines goes way back. We followed a strict assignment of seating at mealtimes at home on the farm. When my next oldest brother left home, I was promoted to his seat on the opposite side of the table. It faced the window, and I could seek the skyline of Stanley, N.D., my hometown.
