N.D.’s gender gap in wages higher than national average

The disparity between men’s and women’s wages has narrowed in the past 50 years — from 59 cents to every dollar following the 1963 passage of the Equal Pay Act. But the latest statistics show North Dakota has the seventh largest gender wage gap in the United States.
