An $852 million question: How would Measure 2 work? Impact would be broad, deep

North Dakotans can vote on Measure 2 on June 12. If it passes, it will replace all locally assessed property taxes with other state money. And like Larson, many are wondering how it would work. Across the state, the number of entities is around 2,100 and total collections are $852 million, according to the North Dakota Association of Counties.
