Eddie Rosario, 20, was named the Appalachian League most valuable player after a neck-and-neck battle with teammate Miguel Sano, who finished with 20 homers, 50 runs batted in and a .292 average in 66 games. Rosario hit .337 with 21 homers and 60 RBIs in 67 games. Rosario was so impressive that the Twins quickly moved him from outfield.Word count: 835
