OUR OPINION: Aim higher, N.D. state superintendent candidates

N.D. should give Massachusetts a run for its money as America's best K-12 education state.
In all professions, the temptation to speak in jargon is strong; in education, it seems overpowering. And if history is any guide, the race for North Dakota's state superintendent of public instruction will be no exception. The candidates should vow to lead North Dakota back to the top spot on national achievement tests. No jargon, just fact.
