SOCIAL SECURITY Q & A: Do my Social Security widow's benefits stop if I remarry?

Published 03/17/2012, Grand Forks Herald

Social Security survivor benefits are payable for reasons other than age. A surviving parent of any age with a child either under age 16 or disabled in their care might receive benefits as could a disabled widower or widow at least age 50.
