Significant winter storm expected to begin Saturday in eastern N.D., northwestern Minnesota

A winter storm watch is in effect for eastern N.D. and northwestern Minnesota through Sunday night. Snow accumulations may be heavy late Saturday night and Sunday morning. Six inches or more of snow is possible across eastern N.D. and parts of west central Minnesota. Blowing and drifting snow will increase on Sunday afternoon and evening. Another significant storm is expected to hit Tuesday and Wednesday.
