Grand Forks gets nearly 4 inches of snow; 8 inches falls in Lancaster, Minn.

Meteorologist Jim Kaiser said the agency’s Grand Forks office measured 3.9 inches of snow, right within the predicted margin of 3 to 5 inches. The biggest amount of snowfall this winter occurred on Dec. 30, with 4.5 inches accumulating.
