BOYS HOCKEY: Bruins blank Knights

Published 02/09/2012, Grand Forks Herald

The East Region boys hockey tournament begins Tuesday. “Every team now has a clean slate,” Grand Forks Central coach Tony Bina says. That’s wonderful news for the Knights, who ended the regular season getting outscored 13-0 in their last two games. The latest blowout loss was a 6-0 decision against Fargo South-Shanley on Thursday in Purpur Arena. Josh Loken scored three goals, Jarrett Olson-Etches added a goal and two assists as the Bruins — a team Central beat early in the season — put the game on running time for the entire third period.
