Minnesota man faces 35 counts of horse neglect
An East Bethel man is charged with 35 counts of animal mistreatment after authorities discovered horses on his property that were so emaciated the outlines of their bones were visible under their skin. On Thursday, Anoka County authorities announced charges against 72-year-old Lowell Friday. Friday did not return a phone message, but has said the horses were properly cared for.Word count: 133
