North Dakota utilities looking increasingly at natural gas as power source

Montana-Dakota Utilities Co. is proposing construction of an 88-megawatt gas turbine near its Heskett power station north of Mandan. The Heskett plant uses coal to make electricity. North Dakota's Public Service Commission is holding a hearing Tuesday on the project.
