CDC reports startling numbers on domestic violence; N.D. shows lowest reported rate

In what some call startling new numbers, 1 in 4 women surveyed by the federal Centers for Disease Control says she was attacked physically by her intimate partner. Experts say the new numbers are "astounding" but believable. North Dakota ranked as the lowest among states for the prevalence of domestic violence.
