For Dennis Clark, a walk through the Smithsonian exhibit “Key Ingredients: America by Food,” is a trip down Main Street in the Valley City, N.D., home of his youth. He recalls occasional family outings to Dolly’s Café, or the A&W Drive-Inn, a popular teen hangout. “It brings back memories,” said Clark, assistant manager of Icelandic State Park.Word count: 560
