Minnesota's role in FBI crime database debated; task force recommends sending BCA data

After more than four hours of often-tense debate, a task force laid out Friday how Minnesota's crime, jail and probation information should be funneled to a national database. The Criminal and Juvenile Justice Information Task Force wrapped up its recommendation for the state's involvement in the Law Enforcement National Data Exchange (N-DEx), a database run by the FBI and accessible to local and federal law enforcement.
