Despite nickname repeal, UND Indian students push lawsuit

Their attorney Carla Fredericks said the students can't be sure the nickname will really be gone, and they feel that it's continued existence has harmed them. Attorney General Wayne Stenehjem asked a court to dismiss their law suit because the state Legislature's repeal of the nickname bill makes the issue a moot point.
