Weather speeds corn, bean harvest; stalls sugar beet lifting

The hot, dry weather of the past few weeks allowed the harvest of corn and beans in North Dakota and Minnesota finally by Sunday to move up to or ahead of the normal pace, after a growing season that has been behind schedule from the start due to too much water. But the same weather is delaying the lifting of sugar beets.Word count: 727
