Nearly half of Minnesota schools fail under No Child Left Behind

Nearly half of Minnesota schools didn’t make the grade under the federal No Child Left Behind law in 2011, the Minnesota Department of Education reported Friday. School districts in East Grand Forks, Fischer and Climax found themselves in this group. Other districts such as Crookston, Fosston and Red Lake Falls received passing grades on their report cards.Word count: 721
