Minnesota sites see deeper freeze
Most of eastern North Dakota appears to have escaped a killing freeze early this morning, despite earlier expectations that many locations would see 28 degrees or lower. That’s good news for farmers hoping for more time for corn, soybeans, dry edible beans and sunflowers to mature fully toward top yield potential.
