Disease spread by midges might have caused western N.D. deer deaths

The state has not had significant deer deaths from the disease known as EHD since 2005, but biologists believe the disease that's spread by midges might be responsible for recent deer deaths in McKenzie, Hettinger, Slope and Golden Valley counties.
