Rainy summer continues in N.D., but drought conditions linger in parts of Manitoba
It’s been a rainy summer across the Red River Valley, where some areas have recorded nearly double the normal precipitation since May 1. Just a few hours north of the saturated fields and water-filled ditches of North Dakota and northwest Minnesota, some parts of Manitoba are beginning to feel more like arid deserts than the northern prairie.
