Weather service: Straight-line winds cause of northwest Minnesota damage

Straight-line winds, at times reaching 85 to 95 mph, extended a dozen or more miles wide at times while moving from Drayton, N.D., to Roseau, Minn., on Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service office in Grand Forks.Word count: 377
