WEATHER: Heat indexes top 100 up and down the Valley

The heat index got as high as 108 in Roseau, Minn., as temperatures in the mid-90s met up with very high humidity, with a dew point unusually high at 82 degrees. It was similar in Hallock, Minn., where as late as 7:15 p.m., the heat index still was at 105 degrees, said Vince Godin, meteorologist with the National Weather Service in Grand Forks.Word count: 305
